Special Services
The Special Services Department consists of Custodial Services and Grounds Maintenance
The Custodial Services for ASU are provided by a combination of employees and a contract custodial service. The contract custodial services are provided by Aztec.
ASU closely supervises the activities of the contract service to make sure that all required and emergency cleaning is provided on a timely basis.
The Grounds Department maintains the landscaping on the ASU campus. Routine duties include mowing and trimming the grass, tree trimming, sidewalk cleaning, parking lot maintenance, landscaping services, sprinkler-system maintenance, athletic field maintenance, and intramural field maintenance. The grounds department not only takes care of the main campus, but also provides grounds services for the lake facility, MIR Center, the President's residence, and the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts.

The Special Services Department is under the direction of the Associate Director of Special Services.
