Study Skills Survey and Resources
Knowing your own study skills as well as your study strengths and challenges can help you succeed academically in college. Some study skills are universal and can be applied in all of your courses (i.e., time management, note-taking and test-taking), while other study strategies should be tailored to fit specific course content.
The First-Year Experience program has compiled the information below to help you develop and advance your study skills. We also encourage you to take the Study Skills Survey to get more specialized information about your strengths and weaknesses.
