Faculty/Staff Development

Creating faculty and staff development initiatives on diversity, learning styles and teaching are important components of the Hispanic Serving Institute grant.  The grant funding will allow ASU to improve faculty/staff training in technologies for delivery of teaching and services as well as communication with students and community members.

Additionally, ASU will host workshops, presentations and speakers to provide intense intercultural education to promote the development of programs and the infusion of strategies into the classroom, especially in relation to awareness and diverse teaching and learning processes.

Faculty members are encouraged to participate to keep up-to-date on trends and best practices in intercultural education, including technological advancements, to improve retention.
