IN-PERSON INSTRUCTION

If your students will be researching or you would like them to have a better grasp of information literacy concepts, you may want to schedule a library instruction session.  Typically, sessions focus on teaching students how to use general or topic-specific resources available in the Library, as well as critically evaluating and synthesizing information.  We’ll be happy to work with you to focus on instruction that will be the most effective for your needs.

To schedule a session, please contact Mark Allan at (325) 486-6535 or Mark.Allan@angelo.edu

BLACKBOARD

To make it easier to include information literacy instruction in your classes, librarians created a “course” on Blackboard with short videos and quizzes on eight important information literacy topics. To see the videos and quiz questions, as well as our recommendations, please see our Libguide.

To enroll your class, please click here. Select the class you’d like to be enrolled and click “enroll selected classes.” Your class will be enrolled by the end of one business day. When you’d like to check your students’ grades, please log on to the Blackboard program.
