    Description: This database includes bibliographic citations for materials ranging from the first U.S. dissertation, accepted in 1861, as well as European dissertations back from the 17th century, to those accepted as recently as last semester. PQDT is the official dissertations repository for the Library of Congress and the publishing partner of the National Library of Canada.

    PQDT allows students, faculty, and other researchers to search for high-quality, peer-reviewed and multidisciplinary research materials related to their scholarly interests.     Description: Searchable online collection of non-current issues (‘backfile’) of selected core scholarly (peer-reviewed) journals in a broad range of disciplines.

    The time lag between the most current issues of a journal title and the content available in JSTOR is called “moving wall.” It varies from publisher to publisher. The majority of journals in JSTOR have moving walls of between 3 and 5 years, but publishers may elect walls anywhere from zero to 10 years.

    Description: Application created for the general public to provide broad access to the O*NET database of occupational information. The O*NET database includes information on skills, abilities, knowledges, work activities, and interests associated with occupations. This information can be used to facilitate career exploration, vocational counseling, and a variety of human resources functions, such as developing job orders and position descriptions and aligning training with current workplace needs. Information is available for over 900 occupations. Each occupational title and code is based on the 2010 version of the Standard Occupational Classification system.

    O*NET OnLine offers a variety of search options and occupational data, while My Next Move is a streamlined application for students and job seekers. Both applications were developed for the U.S. Department of Labor by the National Center for O*NET Development.

    • American Jurisprudence 2d (Am Jur 2d). An encyclopedia that provides summary and analysis of all fields of American state and federal law. It contains many citations to cases, statutes, and law review articles. It also includes analysis of the spirit and intent of the courts in construing the law, and Legislative intent in enacting and amending the law.
    • American Law Reports (ALR). ALR provides a continually updated series of articles (annotations) on legal topics discussed in key cases. The articles provide objective analysis of different sides of an issue, written in a narrative style.
    • More than 800 law reviews and journals. Law reviews are scholarly journals published by most accredited law schools.
