    Description: Collection of more than 1200 streaming video clips and full programs. The database includes 37 of Shakespeare’s plays produced by BBC as well as additional films in history, social sciences, literature, fine arts, and the sciences.

    Every video includes synchronized captions. Closed Captions are searchable. Watch videos on any computer and on any Internet-connected mobile device. No downloads are required. Videos can be watched by multiple users at the same time.

    Description: This database includes bibliographic citations for materials ranging from the first U.S. dissertation, accepted in 1861, as well as European dissertations back from the 17th century, to those accepted as recently as last semester. PQDT is the official dissertations repository for the Library of Congress and the publishing partner of the National Library of Canada.

    PQDT allows students, faculty, and other researchers to search for high-quality, peer-reviewed and multidisciplinary research materials related to their scholarly interests. Graduate students can consult the database to make sure their proposed thesis or dissertation topics have not already been written about.

    Description: provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature, including peer-reviewed papers, dissertations, book citations, preprints, abstracts and technical reports from a variety of content providers. Sources of material include academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and open access publishers. Some content is available in full text.

    Description: Searchable online collection of non-current issues (‘backfile’) of selected core scholarly (peer-reviewed) journals in a broad range of disciplines.

    The time lag between the most current issues of a journal title and the content available in JSTOR is called “moving wall.” It varies from publisher to publisher. The majority of journals in JSTOR have moving walls of between 3 and 5 years, but publishers may elect walls anywhere from zero to 10 years.

    Description: Comprehensive database, designed specifically for high school libraries. It contains full text for nearly 500 popular high school magazines. All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles).

Additionally, this database contains more than 360 reference books, an Image Collection of over 510,000 photos, maps & flags, color PDFs and expanded full text backfiles (back to 1975) for key magazines.

    Description: Bibliographic database covering the Published International Literature On Traumatic Stress. Produced by the National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, it is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Its goal is to include citations to all literature on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental-health sequelae of traumatic events, without disciplinary, linguistic, or geographical limitations, and to offer both current and retrospective coverage.
