The Children’s Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD) offers 900,000 catalog records and more than 130,000 reviews of children’s books and other materials for children. The database can be searched by author, title, subject, keyword or phrase, or across the full text of a review. Searches can be limited by genre (such as biography, mystery, atlases, etc.), language, publisher, and other criteria. The CLCD database also includes entries for more than 200,000 awards, prizes, best book list and reading list entries. |

Contains more than 2 million entries for doctoral dissertations and master’s theses. The database includes citations for materials ranging from the first U.S. dissertation, accepted in 1861, to those accepted as recently as last semester. Since 1997, new publications have been available electronically, and many publications can be ordered through the system for a fee. The database represents the work of authors from over 1,000 North American graduate schools and European universities. Angelo State University faculty, students, and staff have free access to 24 page previews and the full text in PDF format, when available, of all ASU theses published through UMI Dissertation Publishing. |
