Biology Library Tutorial

TexShare Borrowing

The TexShare card program is a reciprocal borrowing program. It is designed to allow the registered users of participating institutions to go to participating institutions and directly borrow materials from these libraries. Libraries that choose to participate sign a form stating they agree to honor the Card Program Agreement, which specifies the roles and responsibilities of the home and lending libraries, and library patrons. Registered users must obtain a TexShare Card from their home institution before they are able to check out materials from other participating institutions. Angelo State University students may obtain a TexShare card at the Library's Circulation Desk, provided that their Library account is in good standing (e.g. library fines situation).

Information about participating library lending policies, which must be followed by individuals requesting a TexShare card, may be found by clicking on this link: http://www.texshare.edu/generalinfo/about/programs.html . (You must be able to open additional windows from your current computer to do this.) Please close this new window when you are through using it, and proceed through the rest of the Tutorial.
