CAMIO highlights the creative output of cultures around the world, from prehistoric to contemporary times, and covering the complete range of expressive forms.|

CDC serves as the national focus for developing and applying disease prevention and control, environmental health, and health promotion and education activities designed to improve the health of the people of the United States.|
|Children’s Literature Comprehensive Database||The Children’s Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD) offers 900,000 catalog records and more than 130,000 reviews of children’s books and other materials for children. The database can be searched by author, title, subject, keyword or phrase, or across the full text of a review. Searches can be limited by genre (such as biography, mystery, atlases, etc.), language, publisher, and other criteria. The CLCD database also includes entries for more than 200,000 awards, prizes, best book list and reading list entries.|
|Choice Reviews Online||
Choice Reviews Online is the internet version of the monthly print magazine, Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries. It is published by The Association of College and Research Libraries, a division of the American Library Association.
Choice is directed toward academic librarians and faculty as a resource for collection development and scholarly research. It covers more than 50 sub-disciplines spanning the humanities, science and technology, and the social and behavioral sciences.
Each issue contains approximately 600 reviews of recent books and electronic resources (including websites), a bibliographic essay that explores the literature in a specific topic, and “Feature” articles on current issues in the library field.

The online version of the print journal is fully searchable and features daily reports on developments in higher education, information technology, and distance education, as well as regularly updated databases of grant opportunities, job announcements, and links to Internet resources for higher education.
|CINAHL with Full text (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature)||The database provides full text access to over 600, and indexing for nearly 3,000 English-language journals in the fields of nursing and allied health, including complete coverage of publications from the National League for Nursing and the American Nurses’ Association. CINAHL covers such topics as nursing, biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, alternative/complementary medicine, consumer health and 17 allied health disciplines. In addition, this database offers access to health care books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, educational software, audiovisuals and book chapters. This database contains more than 2.2 million records dating back to 1981.|
|Civil War Soldiers & Sailors System||Computerized database from the National Park Service containing very basic facts about servicemen who served on both sides during the Civil War. Currently contains approximately 2.5 million soldier names from over 30 states and territories. Also includes regimental histories, significant battles, and other historical information.|
|Clase y Periodica||CLASE indexes documents published in Latin American journals specializing in the social sciences and humanities. PERIODICA covers journals specializing in science and technology. This database offers access to more than 300,000 bibliographic citations from documents published in 2,600 scholarly journals. Contains information from articles, essays, book reviews, monographs, conference proceedings, technical reports, interviews and brief notes published in journals edited in 24 different countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as from publications that focus on Pan-American issues.|
|Cochrane Library||The Cochrane Library is a collection of systematic reviews for evidence-based medicine to inform people providing and receiving medical care, and those responsible for research, testing, funding and administration. It contains the following databases: The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (full text), The Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effectiveness (bibliography), The Cochrane Controlled Trials Register (bibliography), The Cochrane Database of Methodology Reviews (full text), The Cochrane Methodology Register (bibliography), The Health Technology Assessment Database (bibliography), and The NHS Economic Evaluator Database (bibliography).|
|Communication & Mass Media Complete||CMMC incorporates CommSearch (formerly produced by the National Communication Association) and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by Penn State) along with numerous other journals to create a research and reference resource in the communication and mass media fields. CMMC offers cover-to-cover (“core”) indexing and abstracts for over 300 journals, and selected (“priority”) coverage of over 100 more, for a combined coverage of over 400 titles. Furthermore, this database includes full text for nearly 200 journals. Many major journals have indexing, abstracts, PDFs and searchable citations from their first issues to the present (dating as far back as 1915).|

|Consumer Health Complete||CHC is designed to support patients’ information needs and foster an overall understanding of health-related topics. This full text database covers topics such as aging, cancer, diabetes, drugs & alcohol, fitness, nutrition & dietetics, children’s health, men & women’s health, etc.|
|Contemporary Authors||Provides detailed biographical information on more than 100,000 authors from the twentieth century. Covers fiction and nonfiction writers, poets, playwrights, prominent print and broadcast journalists, editors, photojournalists, syndicated cartoonists, screenwriters, television scriptwriters, and other media people. Authors who write in languages other than English are included if their works have been published in the United States or translated into English.|
|Contemporary Literary Criticism - Select||A collection of biographical and critical essays on contemporary writers (defined as writers now living or who died after December 31, 1959). For each writer CLC provides a biographical essay that outlines the author’s life, works and critical importance; critical essays or excerpts taken from books, journals, newspapers and interviews; a listing of principal works; and resources for further reading.|

It contains dictionaries, bilingual dictionaries, thesauri, encyclopaedias, quotations and atlases, plus a wide range or subject-specific titles covering everything from accounting to zoology. It also includes maps, images, and sound files.|
|Criminal Justice Abstracts||Criminal Justice Abstracts covers crime trends, crime prevention and deterrence, juvenile delinquency, juvenile justice, police, courts, punishment and sentencing. The database contains indexes and summaries of international journal articles, books, and governmental and non-governmental reports on a wide range of topics in criminal justice.|
