Dallas Morning News Historical Archive A unique historical digital image collection accessible by keyword and date searching. It documents major events in Texas, the United States, and the world, providing valuable primary source information. Classified and display advertising, photos and graphics are also included.

Digital National Security Archive Contains more than 80,000 declassified documents, an archival record of reports, memoranda, correspondence and papers concerning important public policy decisions in the area of foreign affairs and national security. Directory of Open Access Journals Service that provides access to quality controlled Open Access Journals. The Directory aims to be comprehensive and cover all open access scientific and scholarly journals that use an appropriate quality control system, and it is not be limited to particular languages or subject areas.
Dissertations and Theses Contains more than 2 million entries for doctoral dissertations and master’s theses. The database includes citations for materials ranging from the first U.S. dissertation, accepted in 1861, to those accepted as recently as last semester. Since 1997, new publications have been available electronically, and many publications can be ordered through the system for a fee. The database represents the work of authors from over 1,000 North American graduate schools and European universities. Angelo State University faculty, students, and staff have free access to 24 page previews and the full text in PDF format, when available, of all ASU theses published through UMI Dissertation Publishing.

DOE Information Bridge Provides free, convenient, and quick access to Department of Energy (DOE) research and development reports in physics, chemistry, materials, biology, environmental sciences, energy technologies, engineering, computer and information science, renewable energy, and other topics.
DRAGNET (Search free legal databases) A specialized search engine developed by librarians at the New York Law School, that “drags the net” through a group of free law-related Web resources chosen by Library staff for their reliability and utility to legal researchers. DRAGNET contains search tabs that look at specific portions of the law. Each tab can generate up to 100 hits, ranked for relevance by Google’s search engine.
DTIC Online A DoD publicly accessible repository and database of releasable technical reports from 1986 to the present (more than 400,000 citations and abstracts); as well as access to the databases of technical reports of NASA and the Department of Energy (DOE).
