Dissertations and Theses Contains more than 2 million entries for doctoral dissertations and master’s theses. The database includes citations for materials ranging from the first U.S. dissertation, accepted in 1861, to those accepted as recently as last semester. Since 1997, new publications have been available electronically, and many publications can be ordered through the system for a fee. The database represents the work of authors from over 1,000 North American graduate schools and European universities. Angelo State University faculty, students, and staff have free access to 24 page previews and the full text in PDF format, when available, of all ASU theses published through UMI Dissertation Publishing. Currently contains approximately 2.5 million soldier names from over 30 states and territories. Also includes regimental histories, significant battles, and other historical information

Internet Modern History Sourcebook Offers a diversity of source material in modern European, American, and Latin American history, as well as a significant amount of material pertinent to world cultures and global studies
Making of America A digital library of primary sources in American social history from the antebellum period through reconstruction. The collection is particularly strong in the subject areas of education, psychology, American history, sociology, religion, and science and technology. The collection currently contains approximately 8,500 books and 50,000 journal articles with 19th century imprints.
National Digital Archive The Archive collects and publishes declassified documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act. The Archive also serves as a repository of government records on a wide range of topics pertaining to the national security, foreign, intelligence, and economic policies of the United States.
Online Data Archive A collection of machine-readable data provided by the University of Wisconsin Data and Program Library Service. A number of the sets contain historical data, on topics such as the 18th and 19th century slave trade, French provincial intendants, 1661-1790, the Russian imperial bureaucracy, 1762-1881, and 15th century catasti for Florentine domains and Verona.
The Avalon Project This collection of over 150 historical documents ranges from some pre-18th century titles through the 20th century. A “major collections” category contains sets of related documents, such as Franco-American Diplomacy, Papers of the Confederate States of America, the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials.
