The WTC seeks
historical papers of all kinds such as personal correspondence, photographs,
scrapbooks, minute books, diaries and business papers of all kinds relating
to the history of Texas, in particular West Texas and the Concho Valley.
We also seek books and genealogical materials but do not limit these to
a particular geographic area.
The WTC actively seeks manuscript and
photographic materials and encourages its friends to contact the Collection
about the possibility of archiving personal papers and business records.
These include letters, memoirs, diaries, photo albums, professional papers,
genealogical information, speeches, legal documents, brochures, photographs,
film/video, and audio tapes. Since its inception the WTC has depended
upon its friends to help it find important research materials, and to
help preserve the historical memory.
