Central Receiving/Supply
The Central Receiving/Supply Department is responsible for the acquisition of all parts and materials required for the operation of the Physical Plant. In addition, this department is responsible for receiving all materials ordered by other departments on campus and delivering all materials and overnight packages to all departments on campus.
This department, which has a total of nine employees, eight full-time and one part-time, also makes sure restrooms are stocked with paper goodsand that all cleaning goods are provided for the custodial service. The department is broken into two groups: the purchasing area and thewarehouse area. The department maintains all parts and materials on a database that allows the department to track material usage for each work order.
