Storm Water Management

ASU is committed to providing a safe environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. The Office of Environmental Health, Safety and Risk Management’s Storm Water Management Program initiatives are based on federal and state regulations to ensure the health and well-being of the campus community.

The Storm Water Management Program involves numerous initiatives, including controlling pollution from entering waterways and subsurface water sources, abiding by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality standards for water quality, and following best management practices.

Storm water management is a new initiative for the city of San Angelo and Angelo State University as a Phase II entity for the State of Texas. Future plans are to reduce the amount of pollutants released by ASU into the environment.

For more information and/or training opportunities involving storm water management, please contact the Office of Environmental Health, Safety and Risk Management at (325) 942-2180.
