Business Advising
The ASU-SBDC provides FREE and confidential, one-on-one advising to local small business owners and entrepreneurs. Services are available to the public with a scheduled appointment. Professional ASU-SBDC advisors work with both existing and start-up companies in areas such as developing a loan proposal, market research, managing employees, finance and business plans. Our advisors have experience with owning or managing businesses, and receive advising training and certification. Other areas of assistance include, but are not limited to:

Business Seminars and Workshops
The ASU-SBDC also offers a diverse array of business seminars and workshops in areas ranging from doing business on the Internet to developing a marketing plan, from basic bookkeeping to strategic planning. Several workshops are conducted each month at the university and various locations throughout the service area. Most seminars are provided for free, and some for only a nominal fee.
