Carr Transfer Scholarships

    Carr Presidential Transfer Scholarship

    Students must maintain a 3.0 institutional GPA at the end of each academic year.
    The scholarship will be renewed until you have reached the lifetime maximum.

    Student Status Semester Credit Hours Scholarship Amount
    Full time 12 hours $2,500/Semester
    Part time 9-11 hours $1,875/Semester
    6-8 hours $1,250/Semester

    $10,000 Maximum Lifetime Award

    Qualifications

    • Students must be nominated by the president of the most recently attended community college or university.

    Application

    You must be accepted for admission to ASU to be considered for this scholarship. Scholarship eligibility will be determined at the time of admission based on the official transcripts you have submitted to the Office of Admissions. Additional official transcripts turned in after the admissions decision may increase your eligibility. All ASU scholarships are subject to availability of funds. 

    Notification

    You will be notified by mail if you are selected for a Carr Presidential Transfer Scholarship.

     

    Renewal

    Carr Presidential Transfer Scholarship must maintain a 3.0 institutional GPA at the end of each academic year. 

    Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

    The Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) scholarship is for Junior college students who are members in good standing with the PTK organization.  Qualified candidates may be eligible to receive a $1,000 award each academic year through the completion of a first baccalaureate degree at ASU. Applicants must obtain a PTK Scholarship Reference Form from their junior college PTK advisor and return it to the ASU Scholarship Programs Office.  The PTK Reference Form must be received by the Scholarship Programs Office prior to the first class day for the semester you will be attending.

    The PTK scholarship is renewable for two years as long as you are meeting the PTK satisfactory academic progress requirements.  You must complete 30 semester credit hours each year and maintain a 3.0 or higher institutional GPA.

    Carr Fellow Transfer Scholarship

    Students must maintain a 3.0 institutional GPA at the end of each academic year.
    The scholarship will be renewed until you have reached the lifetime maximum.

    Part time 9-11 hours $1,500/Semester
    6-8 hours $1,000/Semester

    $8,000 Maximum Lifetime Award

    Qualifications

    • 3.50-4.0 GPA on all transferrable coursework
    • At least 30 transferrable credit hours

    Application

    You must be accepted for admission to ASU to be considered for this scholarship. Scholarship eligibility will be determined at the time of admission based on the official transcripts you have submitted to the Office of Admissions.     • At least 18 transferrable credit hours

    • At least 18 transferrable credit hours
