Counseling Services

Attending college can be both exciting and a little unsettling. Angelo State University offers the Center for Counseling Services to help you take advantage of the opportunities while dealing successfully with the challenges of college life.

Counselors are available in the Counseling Center to assist in these and other areas:

Please do not send emergency messages to this e-mail address. For help with mental health emergencies during regular working hours, please contact Counseling Services at the ASU Health Clinic at (325) 942-2171 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room. For mental health emergencies occurring at night or on weekends, you may go to the nearest hospital emergency room, contact the University Police at (325) 942-2071 or call the MHMR Crisis Hotline at (325) 653-5933.

Ulifeline

On the Ulifeline.org website, first click on the words "Find out more" under "Students" on the homepage, then select Texas under the Student Login, then select Angelo State University on the "School" drop-down box in order to access the page for ASU students. This page will allow you to access a library of information regarding mental health, alcohol and drugs, sexual health, as well as information regarding helping a friend who is in distress or suicidal.
