Planning, Policy and Effectiveness

Planning at Angelo State University is a fluid and ongoing process based on the “bull’s-eye” principle that maintains the mission statement as the central focus of all planning efforts.

VISION 2020, Angelo State University’s strategic plan, supports this concept in the service of three primary purposes:

• to establish targets by which achievement of the mission statement can be tracked and measured.
• to maintain the centrality of the university’s academic programs, and
• to provide a framework for the university’s budgeting and resource allocation process.
