Strategic Planning Council

Purpose

The Angelo State University Strategic Planning Council, a representative entity of faculty and staff, has two primary functions:

  1. to constantly and regularly monitor the university’s internal and external environments through ongoing review of data and periodic SWOT analyses; and
  2. to submit to the president, on an annual basis, a set of recommendations for current objectives and strategic directions which will serve as a foundation for the university’s budgeting and resource allocation processes.

Membership

Because strategic planning has been established by Dr. Rallo as the driving force behind the university’s efforts in meeting its goals, managing its budgets, and directing its resources, the Strategic Planning Council is a key component in achieving ongoing institutional success.

Representatives from each of the following University entities will comprise the Council’s membership.
