The Student Life Office sponsors some of ASU’s most popular campus events that engage students, as well as the rest of the campus community. Read about each event below to learn how you can get involved or participate in the festivities.
New students choose from several of our orientation program offerings during the spring or summer prior to their enrollment at ASU. While you’re here for orientation, you’ll get advised, register for classes, meet other students and make new friends, learn about university services and resources, and learn about how to get involved on campus.
The events of Rambunctious Weekend kick off ASU’s fall semester for new and returning students. In addition to helping students move into their residence halls, Rambunctious Weekend offers free food and activities like face painting, balloon making and zip lining. Students also get to learn about ASU’s student organizations and participate in team building exercises to help them meet other new students.
ASU welcomes our students’ families to campus one Saturday each fall. The university hosts several activities and gives families the opportunity to learn more about the campus. The day concludes with an ASU home football game.
ASU’s Homecoming festivities are a collaboration of the Center for Student Involvement, the Alumni Association and ASU athletics. Activities continue every day for a week and include an alumni awards banquet, a pep rally, a bonfire, a parade and, of course, a football game.
During each spring semester, the campus community gets together for a fun weekend of food, games and concerts.
