Cheerleading Scholarships and Benefits
Scholarships:
Angelo State University provides partial scholarships for cheerleaders. The amounts of the scholarships are as follows:

| Less than two full semesters | $600 |
| Two to three full semesters | $675 |
| Four to five full semesters | $750 |
| Six or more full semesters | $825 |
Other Benefits:
The university provides transportation, meals and lodging whenever the squad travels out of town. Members are expected to purchase their own shoes, workout clothing and other personal items.
ASU provides supplemental medical insurance for any injuries sustained while participating in official cheerleader activities. This insurance coverage is coordinated with any personal insurance the student may have.
