Family Day 2011 Schedule of Events

Saturday, Oct. 1

For Family Day at ASU, we invite the family members of our students to campus and showcase some of our programs, facilities and student accomplishments. We provide a broad range of activities throughout the day, and we encourage you to attend these as your schedule permits. Other events may be added, so please check back often for the most recent schedule of activities.

Below is a preliminary schedule of events. The final Family Day Schedule will be posted Sept. 1. Events will be held at:

2 p.m.	Rock-climbing Demonstration by Crux Monkeys, an ASU student organization	CHP Recreation Center
2 p.m.	"Minute to Win It" Game Show, a series of fun-filled interactive challenges to win prizes for students and families. Sponsored by the Department of Housing and Residential Programs.	C.J. Davidson Center
2 p.m. - 3 p.m.	Peer Pressure Team Presentation, sponosored by the Society of Physics Students	VIN Lobby
3 p.m.	"Stars" program in the Global Immersion Center	VIN
3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.	ASU Ram Jam with free food and entertainment	LeGrand Alumni Center
4 p.m.	Blue Crew face painting, an opportunity to go wild and show your school spirit for the football game. Sponsored by the Department of Housing and Residential Programs.	All residence halls
6 p.m.	ASU vs. Eastern New Mexico University football game. Free tickets for family members will be available during the week of Sept. 26-30 at the Information Desk in the University Center. Free tickets also will be available at the Ram Jam.	San Angelo Stadium
