The Psychological Assessment Center (PAC)

The Psychological Assessment Center (PAC) provides comprehensive psychological evaluations to children, adolescents and adults, including assessment of intellectual, academic, and personality functioning. These evaluations are performed by graduate students under the supervision of Dr. Bill Montgomery, Professor of Psychology at ASU and licensed Clinical Psychologist.

Clients utilizing the PAC are provided with a complete report of their evaluation as well as recommendations for change. Brief counseling, if appropriate, may also be provided. Some of the concerns addressed by the PAC include Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), specific learning disabilities, problems with depression and anxiety, and personality disturbances.

Assessment fees:

  1. ASU students are charged only for the cost of the answer sheets and/or record forms used to complete the assessment; the fee for a comprehensive psychological evaluation is approximately $20.
  2. ASU faculty and staff are charged an hourly rate of $10 and will depend on the number of hours needed to complete the evaluation.
  3. All others are charged an hourly rate of $10; the exact fee will therefore depend on the number of hours needed to complete the evaluation. The fee for a comprehensive psychological evaluation may range from a minimum of $50 to a maximum of $200.
