Tryouts!
Fall Tryout
Tryouts for the 2009-2010 ASU Cheer Squad will be held on Wednesday August 26th at 6:00 p.m. in the Dance Room of the CHP. Candidates will be required to do the following:
- Learn and perform the Fight Song
- Standing and Running Tumbling
- Jumps
- Stunts (as either top or base)
Candidates must have a cumulative 2.25 GPA and must be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours.

Tryouts are held in late April each year. Requirements for tryouts are as follows:
- Standing Backhandspring (required)
- Standing Backtuck (preferred)
- Standing Backhandspring Backtuck (preferred)
- Running Tumbling - Series with a Backtuck or better (required)
- Heel Stretch Full Down/Double Down (Top or Base)
- Arabesque Full Down/Double Down (Top or Base)
