Requesting Software for Labs

If you have software which you would like to make available in the computer labs for your students, contact Technology Service Center to open a work request. Generally, we require the software six weeks before the start of the semester in order to test compatibility with the operating system and ensure there are no conflicts with other software.

To complete the installation, we will need a copy of the media, pertinent licensing information, and a copy of the purchase requisition if the software was purchased by ASU. If you have adopted a textbook with software included that your students will want to use in the labs, it will have to be installed in the labs. Many times the students come with CDs, which came with their textbooks, and are disappointed to find out that they are not able to use it in the labs.
