ASU E-mail

Faculty/Staff E-mail

Desktop computers are configured with Microsoft Outlook or Entourage email clients. If you want to read your e-mail when you are away from the university you can login into Outlook Web Access at owa.angelo.edu.

Faculty and Staff accounts are created at the time of employment.

The size of an individual message is limited to 25 megabytes, which includes all attachments. If you need to send messages larger than 25 MB, consider using a compression utility like WinZip.

Drive space: You are limited to 2 GB. If your mailbox exceeds 2 GB, you will begin to receive warning messages from the System Administrator. These messages are automatically generated, so you may receive more than one. Generally you should do the following:

  • Empty your Deleted Items folder
  • Remove unwanted mail from your Sent Items folder
  • Deleted unwanted messages with large attachments
  • Archive your messages
