Student E-mail & Calendar

Welcome to RamMail, the new student e-mail system powered by Google. We hope you enjoy all of the new features RamMail provides.

To access RamMail, log in to RamPort and click the “RamMail” button in the top right-hand corner.

Getting Started


Now that you are using RamMail, you will want to take some time to get acquainted with the new features it has to offer. Here are some things to get you started.

Set up your mobile Device

With RamMail, you can now access your ASU e-mail from most web-enabled mobile devices. Find out if your device is supported and learn how to set it up here.

Import your RamPort Calendars

RamMail also includes access to Google powered calendars. Learn how to get your class schedules or other existing calendars out of Ramport and into the RamMail calendar.

Configure your E-mail

  • Create an e-mail signature - Create a signature containing a bit of personalized text (such as your contact information or a favorite quote) that will be automatically inserted at the bottom of every message you send.
  • Set up e-mail filters - Manage the flow of incoming messages using filters You can automatically label, archive, delete, star, forward your mail, and even keep it out of Spam.
  • Manage e-mail labels - RamMail uses labels, rather than folders to help you organize your messages. Learn how to create, edit, and delete existing labels.
  • Become a Gmail Ninja - Learn tips and tricks to save time, increase your productivity, and manage your email efficiently.
