Information Technology is excited to maintain a partnership with Dell to offer Dell hardware at a discounted price for faculty, staff and student’s personal use. This is a program called the Dell University program and offers ASU faculty, staff and students 7% off a personal purchase of Dell equipment in addition to special promotional offers based upon the cost of the equipment and the length of warranty purchased.

Microsoft Software for Students
Through a partnership with the ASU Bookstore, students can purchase Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows products at a 75% discount off of retail costs through a program called the Microsoft Select 6.0 program. This program allows students to purchase a copy of Microsoft Office or Microsoft Windows at approximately $100 per copy. Just go to the ASU Bookstore with your valid Student ID and ask at the counter about the discounted Microsoft software for students program to take advantage of these discounts. Only one purchase per a product per a student is allowed.
Microsoft Software for Faculty and Staff
The Microsoft Campus License Agreement (MCLA) provides the opportunity for faculty and staff to take Microsoft products such as Microsoft Office home free for use on personal computers. Free Virus Protection
Students, faculty and staff can install Microsoft Security Essentials software for free on their personal computers. This software is for home use only.

Apple Products for Students and Faculty/Staff
Apple offers special education pricing on Apple computers, software and select third party products to college students, parents buying for a college student, or teachers, homeschool teachers, administrators and staff of all grade levels. Go to the Apple Store, click on the link on the left: Education Store, and search for your school. Select your school, and then click the "Shop for Yourself" button at the bottom of the page. From there, the site will apply your school discount to the products and services on the Apple site.
