Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is a professional certification group that certifies professionals in the automotive repair and service industry. It is an independent, non-profit organization created in 1972 in response to consumers needing to distinguish between incompetent and competent automotive technicians. The organization aims to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service through the testing and certification of repair and service professionals.
Register for the ASE Certification Exam
The ASU Testing Center is a designated site for ASE Certification testing. Registration can be done online at www.myASE.com or by calling Prometric at 1-877-346-9327.
Schedule An Exam
Complete and submit the registration form on this page to schedule your exam with the ASU Testing Center. This must be done at least one week prior to the exam date. You are not officially scheduled for an exam until you receive a confirmation e-mail. Upcoming exam dates are: NOTE: Effective June 1, 2016, Angelo State University will no longer be a testing site for the ASE exam.
