Business Card Instructions

All Angelo State University business cards will need to be replaced with the new design, logo and tagline by Sept. 1. All departments (academic, administrative and athletic) will follow the same format.

Current business cards are to be recycled after Aug. 31. Instructions on how to handle materials for recycling and locations where these materials can be delivered will be provided later.

As a service to all departments, the Communications and Marketing Office will waive normal setup fees for the redesign of business cards. Your cost will be strictly for printing and cardstock. The minimum the Print Shop will print is 250 cards. Cost will be $8.72.

The new design is available for viewing on the Transition website under the "Publications"link.

Transition Policy:

All business cards will be printed on both sides. The front side will include department name; street address or building name with room number; employee name; employee title; mailing address; phone number; and e-mail address. The front side may also include, when deemed appropriate by the department, a fax number, web address and home/cell phone number.

Business card policy also allows departments to print on the back additional university information, such as phone numbers, web addresses and other departments as a convenience to students and prospective faculty and staff. All departments not opting to include that information will print on the back of the card the university name, tagline and web address.

Follow these rules regarding titles, degrees and certifications:

Instructions:

As all business cards will need to be replaced to reflect our new TTUS affiliation, we will need to queue jobs as new templates are available so as not to overwhelm the Print Shop with an unmanageable job this summer. To accommodate this process, to help make this an orderly process, please follow the following procedures:

Do not wait until the end of summer to submit your order if you have new people coming on board. Those business cards will be printed later.
