Orlando Villarreal

Officer Villarreal began his service with the University Police Department in October 2008

While attending the police academy, Orlando worked as a part time dispatcher. Upon successful graduation from the academy, the University Police Department hired Orlando as a police officer.

Officer Villarreal is assigned to the patrol division and currently works the 3rd shift. Previously, Orlando worked for 7 years as an environmental specialist and investigator with the Texas Department of Transportation.

Officer Villarreal has specialized training in criminal interdiction, patrol narcotics investigations, surveillance techniques, forensic interviewing and is a certified Glock armorer.
