Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (B.A.A.S.)
- Hybrid (Online and In Person)
About the Program
- This program is designed to be a pathway to completing a bachelor’s degree for students who have already earned an associate degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
- Your associate degree can be in any area, including technical (non-academic) degrees.
- Choose your specialization from four available options:
- Adult Education
- Computer Science
- Criminal Justice
- Homeland Security
Academic courses taken either as part of your associate degree or independent of it may apply toward ASU’s core curriculum requirements.
Associate degrees from Texas community colleges include at least 9-15 credit hours of academic coursework that may be counted toward ASU’s core curriculum requirements. However, transferring fewer than 12 credit hours of academic coursework may require you to extend your bachelor’s degree beyond 120 hours.
Program Faculty
Your professors will vary, depending on which specialization you choose. All our faculty are partners with their students, and our small class sizes mean you get the individual attention you deserve.
