Graduation Requirement for the Computer Science Major
Candidates for the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science are required to
complete a Major Field Test (MFT) in computer science in order to be eligible
for graduation. The Testing Center administers the MFT each semester. A
student is eligible to take the MFT upon completion of all required computer
science credits or during the semester immediately prior to graduation. The
exam score has no bearing on GPA, but will be part of the student’s record.
