Criminal Justice M.S. Admission

Admission Requirements

• All college and university transcripts
• An essay of no more than 750 words regarding your opinion of the single most important challenge to 21st century criminal justice, written in endnote or footnote format. Outside sources may be used.

Prerequisites

Hold a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 2.75 or better, including all grades on repeated courses – or hold a bachelor’s degree with an overall GPA of 3.0 or better in the last 60 hours of undergraduate work.

Application Deadlines

These deadlines are for application only. Financial Aid and Scholarships may have their own deadlines.

• Spring A: Jan 1
• Spring B: Applications will open on Jan 22
• Spring B: Mar 4
• Summer: May 20
• Fall A: Aug 1
• Fall B: Applications will open on Aug. 30
• Fall B: Oct 1

You are strongly encouraged to register for the first and second eight-week sessions simultaneously, before the first eight-week session begins.
