Create employee training and development activities for the benefit of the individual and the organization. | Our advanced instructor option targets those who are seeking opportunities in curriculum development, instructional design, program evaluation, instructional coaching, or training and instruction in corporate, military, government or nonprofit settings. You have opportunities to develop a portfolio of working curriculum and instruction documents appropriate to present to potential employers. |
Professional Education | Develop engaging curriculum and use innovative instruction for dual credit and community college courses. |
Our professional education option targets certified teachers who are seeking opportunities to teach dual credit courses at the high school level or teach their content at a community college or other two-year institution. You must complete 18 hours in your field in addition to the curriculum and instruction courses. Concentrations are available in:

Our teacher studies program option targets those who are seeking the credentials to become a classroom teacher in the public, private and charter school setting. The Teacher Studies option is accredited by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Application and admission to the Educator Preparation Program (EPP) is a prerequisite for teacher certification. |
