What Can You Do With an Educational Leadership Degree?

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates that the job outlook for school principals between 2019-29 will grow at a rate of 4%, with a projected 11,000 job openings in that ten-year time frame.

Our graduates are prepared for careers as elementary or secondary school principals or assistant principals, as well as in curriculum and instructional leadership or administration at the campus or district level.

Our faculty work closely with you to conceptualize the role of the principal as an instructional leader through course communication, announcements, emails, Zooms, personalized feedback and preparation for the two rigorous certification exams. Our candidate scores for the 368 Performance Assessment for School Leaders (PASL) exam are consistently above the state average, and scores for the 268 Principal as Instructional Leader exam are consistently high.
