Admission Requirements

Undergraduate academic record (transcripts of all undergraduate
course work); -
2.75 undergraduate GPA or 3.00 in the last 60 hours of undergraduate
course work; - An essay of no more than 750 words regarding your opinion of the single most important challenge to U.S. national security written in endnote or footnote format. Outside sources may be used.
14N Intelligence Officer Course
Students completing the 17th Training Wing’s Intelligence Officer Course (14N) are eligible to receive up to 12 credit hours toward this online master’s degree in global security studies.

There are no assigned deadlines. Applications are rolling year-round. For best results in getting your application processed before class begins, the dates below are suggested as excellent options for getting in the requirements before registration. Financial Aid and Scholarships may have their own deadlines.

Fall B - Applications will open on Aug. 30
Fall B - Oct 9
You are strongly encouraged to register for the first and second eight-week sessions simultaneously, before the first eight-week session begins.
