Earning your ASU mass media degree will open doors for you into a wide variety of media careers, or prepare you for graduate school.
Our graduates enjoy careers across the U.S. as TV anchors, reporters, producers, web design specialists and writers, and in public relations, advertising and video production.
You can also minor in Mass Media. Minors in Film Studies and Journalism are also available.

Our faculty stay up to date on current industry trends, and several have won statewide teaching awards. Our small class sizes mean you really get to know your professors, and you can work side by side with them on research projects and in our on-campus media outlets.
Career Opportunities
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports a steady increase in career opportunities for various mass media fields through 2028.
Particularly high employment growth is expected for film and video editors, public relations specialists and broadcast technicians.

Our Courses
Gain hands-on experience in our on-campus Ram TV station, Ram Radio internet radio station, and Ram Page student newspaper. You can also intern at local media outlets, production companies and advertising agencies.
