Earn one of the most versatile degrees in all of graduate education.
Our wide-ranging online degree is one of the newest M.P.H. programs in Texas. It will prepare you to become a health practitioner, researcher and/or educator - and to carry out public health functions in local, state, national and international settings. You will also develop the communication, social, analytical-thinking and personal-development skills necessary for professional practice.
Based on your career goals, you can choose from two degree specializations: Behavioral Sciences and Health Education - or Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Upon graduation, you will also be eligible to sit for the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam and the Certified Public Health (CPH) exam.

What Can You Do With a Master of Public Health Degree?
Flexibility
No matter what area of public health interests you, our comprehensive selection of courses has you covered. Our 100% online program also allows you to earn your degree while continuing to fulfill any work or family obligations. Plus, you can start in either the fall or the spring, the GRE test is not required for admission, and you can work at your own pace to complete your degree.
Research Opportunities
While this is an online program, you will still complete at least one high-level research project. Working one on one with a faculty member on a public health topic of your choice, you will develop your project and then present it during your capstone courses. You will also have the option of presenting your project in our annual Graduate Research Showcase, and research activities look great on your résumé.
