Upon earning this M.A. degree, you will have the foundation necessary to apply research, mental health and wellness concepts, and best practices to your role as a utilitarian counselor.  While this degree does not lead to licensure or certification, it places you on track for broad integration of mental health and wellness counseling concepts into your chosen field.

Through the completion of this versatile degree, you will possess a strong foundation to deliver ethical and culturally-competent support for individuals, organizations and communities in order to advocate for change by promoting and normalizing mental health and wellness practices.
