Our Courses

The Minor in Mexican American Studies consists of 18 credit hours (six courses).

You must take Mexican American Studies 2301: Introduction to Mexican American Studies. Then choose five courses from the following:

  • Communication 3355
  • English 4336
  • History 3355, 3356, 3362, 4313, 4351
  • Political Science 4353
  • Sociology 3327
  • Spanish 3334, 3343, 4324
