2nd Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.)

When you earn your ASU nursing degree, you can expect employment opportunities in hospitals, physician offices, clinics, home health and hospice care, long-term care and school nursing, among others. The practical experience you gain will also give you an advantage when it comes to applying for jobs or graduate nursing school.

Our B.S.N. program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and has full approval status from the Texas Board of Nursing. Upon completion, you will be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam.

Career Opportunities

Start your career as soon as you graduate. Our graduates have a pass rate of over 92% on the NCLEX-RN nursing licensure exam.

Nursing career opportunities are available throughout Texas and the U.S. Plus, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that job openings for graduates with an RN degree are expected to increase by 12% through 2028.

Our Courses

Gain hands-on experience through clinical rotations at local hospitals, in our state-of-the-art Simulation Center and Skills Labs, and in the other facilities in our new Health and Human Services Building.
