Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.), Second Degree Option

(52 credit hours)

The Second Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree is fully accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and has full approval status from the Texas Board of Nursing. The degree is a pre-licensure option for students who already hold a baccalaureate degree in another discipline.

Upon approval by the Texas Board of Nursing, the student will be eligible to take the National Council Licensing Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
