Admission Requirements

• Transcripts from baccalaureate degree awarding university or college

  Upload unofficial transcripts, with the exception of Angelo State University transcripts, for application evaluation purposes using the Graduate Studies Documents for Submission form.

  Please do not send official transcript(s) until you have received a notice of acceptance from Angelo State University. Unless an unofficial transcript is not on hand, please request one.

• Essay

  In 500 words or less, explain why you chose the Organizational Psychology and Human Resources program at Angelo State University and how you think it will help you meet your career goals.

Please submit the essay with the graduate school application or using the Graduate Studies Documents for Submission form.

• Three letters of recommendation  (may be academic or professional sources)

Prerequisites

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Overall/cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, or a GPA 3.25 in psychology coursework, including repeated undergraduate coursework.
• Nine (9) hours of undergraduate psychology or related coursework are strongly recommended. 

Application Deadlines

These deadlines are for application only. Financial Aid and Scholarships may have their own deadlines.

Priority Admission Review: March 1 for Fall admission
Applications received by this date will receive priority and will be processed before registration so new students can register on time for a better selection of classes. After the priority deadlines, applications will be reviewed when received, and students will be admitted based on the space available in the program.
