What Can You Do With a Physical Therapy Degree?

Start your career as soon as you graduate. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that employment opportunities for licensed physical therapists are expected to increase by 17% through 2031, adding over 40,000 new jobs.

Our graduates have a 98% pass rate on their national licensure exams, including a 100% pass rate over the last four years. We also have a 100% employment rate for licensed graduates seeking employment. These rates are among the best at PT schools in Texas.

Hands-On Learning

You will gain important practical experience in our six high-tech skills labs dedicated to orthopedic, cardiopulmonary and wound care instruction, as well as manual therapy, electrotherapy, gait analysis and neuroscience. We also offer an elective course that can lead to certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

International Studies

Take advantage of a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience on our winter study abroad trip to Oaxaca, Mexico. You will provide physical therapy examination and treatment in an underserved, non-traditional healthcare setting under the guidance of ASU faculty. You will also interact with local PT students and go on various cultural excursions. Completing this program will broaden your horizons and improve your professional employment prospects when you graduate.
