Application for graduate admission is a multi-step process.
Step 1: Applicants will complete a Graduate Studies application via Apply Texas portal (Do not submit the required essay in Apply Texas). If you have problems accessing the application, please contact the College of Graduate Studies and Research at 325-942-2169 or graduate.studies@angelo.edu. D.S.W. applications will be accepted up to 30 days before the start of the desired semester. International applicants should give themselves more lead time in the application process.
Step 2: Once your Apply Texas application has been processed by the College of Graduate Studies and Research, you will receive an email to access the online D.S.W. application via InPlace Student Platform. Please read carefully and complete all sections of the online D.S.W. application.
Step 3: Within the D.S.W. application, please upload in PDF format your unofficial transcripts from the university or college that awarded your Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree. If admitted, you will be required to submit official transcripts to the College of Graduate Studies and Research, with the exception of Angelo State University transcripts.
Please do not send official transcripts until you have received a notice of acceptance from Angelo State University.

Of these additional requirements, an unofficial copy of your transcript evaluation will need to be uploaded via InPlace Student Platform. All other additional requirements for international students need to be sent to the College of Graduate Studies and Research via documents for submission form. Application Deadlines
These deadlines are for applications only. Financial Aid and Scholarships may have their own deadlines.
The D.S.W. program at Angelo State University admits students each fall. ASU will process your application as quickly as possible; however, applying early gives you the best opportunity for admission. A general rule is submitting your application and supporting documents at least two months before the desired semester start date.
Applications remaining incomplete after the deadline will risk not being reviewed for admission.
