Blue and Gold Go Green

On Nov. 13, 2009, ASU embarked on its “Blue and Gold Go Green” sustainability campaign with a recycling drive. The drive was held in conjunction with Texas Recycle Day and National Recycle Day with participation coming from all across campus. During the recycling drive, ASU collected:

To date, ASU has collected more than 45,000 pounds of paper and more than 400 pounds (24 cubic yards) of plastic bottles. The success of this campaign belongs to you. Without your help, we would not be able to collect these quantities of recyclable materials. Thank you, and we hope to have your continued support of this program.

If you would like to learn more about what can be recycled or the locations of recycling bins, visit the campus recycling webpage.
