Configure your office phone’s functions using the Cisco Unified Communications Self Care Portal. You can access from on-campus or VPN here Cisco Unified Communications Self Care Portal
If you are off-campus, please go to view.angelo.edu, log in, and click Cisco Self Care Portal. Once you reach the Cisco Unified Communications Self Care Portal, log in again using your ASU username and password.
Forward your office phone to a home or mobile phone. Login to the Cisco Unified Communications Portal and follow these steps.
Select Phones, then Call Forwarding
Under the device you want to forward, check the box next to “Forward all calls to”
In the dropdown, select “Add a new number” and enter the number you want to forward to in the box. Note: If the number you are forwarding to is a local number, enter 9 followed by your 7-digit number without area-code (i.e. 99421234). If the number you are forwarding to is long-distance, enter 9 followed by 1 and the 10-digit number including area code (i.e. 911234567890). Do not enter dashes or other characters.
Click Save
Log into your mailbox from your own Extension:
Press the Messages key
Enter your voicemail PIN
Press #
Log into your mailbox from another Extension:
Press the Messages key
Press * to interrupt automated message
Then enter your ID (your 4-digit extension)
Press #
Enter your voicemail PIN
Press #
Log into your mailbox from an outside line:
Dial 325-486-6100
Press * to interrupt automated message
Then enter your ID (your 4-digit extension)
Press #
Enter your voicemail PIN
Press #
If you do not know your voicemail PIN, please contact the IT Service Center to have it reset.
Voicemail Transcriptions are available upon request.
These transcriptions are delivered to your email with an attachment of the audio file.
To request voicemail transcriptions, please contact the IT Service Center and submit a ticket.
