Before You Arrive
ASU Account
Most student technology services at ASU are accessible with your Technology Access Account. It will allow you to access network services in the labs, residence halls, via wireless, and from off-campus. This account will also provide you access to RamPort (ASU’s portal). With the Technology Access Account, you will be given an ASU email account that can be used both on and off campus through RamPort.
Mobile Services
Learn about the apps and services available for your mobile devices such as:
- Ramport Mobile App - Add/drop classes, view and pay your bill, find your way around campus, and more.
- Blackboard App - View your courses, assignments, discussions, and grades.
- Get discounts on your mobile bill.
- Set up your mobile device to be compatible with ASU services.

Free/Discounted Technology
Are you shopping for a new computer or need updated software? Let us help! ASU Students receive discounts on Dell, HP, or Apple computers and can download free Microsoft software. Other software is available at discounted rates through the ASU bookstore.

After You Arrive
WiFi and Network
Wireless internet is available across campus and wired connections are available in all residence halls. Learn how to connect your devices to the ASU Network.
Gaming Consoles
Follow our console instructions to connect your gaming or media devices to the ASU network.
Door Access
If you’re living in a Residence Hall, learn how to use the Key Pad for Door Access.
If you can’t remember your PIN code, learn how to change your MyOneCard PIN for Door Access.
Blackboard
Blackboard is the software you will use in most of your courses for assignments, quizzes, discussions, grades, and more.
Computer Labs
The computer lab located in the Math-Computer Science building provides over 125 computers and printers for student use. The Library Learning Commons provides 24-hour access to computers, laptops, scanners, printers, and other digital technology. Both locations have lab technicians on duty to provide assistance and expertise.

Printing on Campus
Black & white and color laser printers are available for student use in computer labs and the Library Learning Commons. Students receive $40 in print funds each semester. Learn more about ASU’s print services for students.
Student Laptop Checkout Program
Need a laptop for schoolwork? The Student Laptop Checkout Program is available to enrolled ASU students for academic use. The program is intended to help aid the student in the event they don’t have access to the necessary technology.
