Submit Your Final Transcripts.
Once you’ve completed high school, request a copy of your Final Official High School Transcript with your graduation date, official stamp and final grades. Transcripts are processed more quickly when sent electronically to ASU, or your school may provide you with a hard copy in a sealed envelop. If you participated in dual credit with a college other than Angelo State, you will also need to request a Final Official College Transcript directly from the college/university where you received credit.
Submit your TSI Documentation
If you are not exempt from the TSI, you must submit your scores to us. If you have taken the TSI but have not submitted scores, please complete the score release form so we can access them, or submit your scores to ASU via fax at 325-942-2553 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you still need to take the TSI, contact your high school counselor or local community college for information about possible testing in your area. You may also take the TSI test through the ASU Testing Center.
Submit Proof of Your Meningitis Vaccination
State law requires all incoming students who don’t meet exemption to show proof of receiving a bacterial meningitis vaccination. You must have received the vaccine within five years of the first day of classes. The latest possible date to receive the vaccine is 10 days prior to the start of the semester. You can upload your record or your bacterial meningitis vaccination online, fax the record to 325-942-2553 or email it to email@example.com.
Set up your Technology Access Account
After you apply for admission, you will receive an email at the address provided on your application. This email contains the information needed to set up your ASU User Account. If you ever need assistance in regards to technology on campus, please contact the IT Service Center at 325-942-2911 or visit our resource page.
Once you set up your account, you will gain access to RamPort, our internal web portal. Through RamPort, you will have access to content, tools and services most relevant to you.
Set up FERPA/Proxy Access
FERPA establishes requirements regarding the privacy of your student records. After being admitted, set up FERPA/Proxy access if you want ASU to be able to discuss your records with a third party (i.e., a parent or guardian) or you want to allow someone to view your bill, grades or tax information.
Submit a Housing Application
Deciding where you’re going to live is a crucial component of your college success. If you choose to live on campus, complete your Housing Application as soon as possible. Some students may have the option of living off campus during their first year at ASU. If you choose to stay off campus, you need to fill out the Request for Exemption Form.

Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online to be considered for grants, loans and Work Study. We also offer more than 270 general scholarships not tied to specific degree programs. Submit a General Scholarship Application to be eligible. Complete Required Trainings
As part of maintaining a safe and healthy community, we require all incoming students to complete two trainings: Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates and Alcohol EDU. Information on how to complete these trainings will be sent to your email address.
Get Your ASU OneCard and Parking Permit
The ASU OneCard is your official student ID. You’ll need it to use your meal plan, access your residence hall, and to participate in various student events and activities. If you plan to bring a vehicle to campus, you’ll need to purchase a parking permit.
Pay Your Bill
Payment is due before the semester begins and can be paid via cash, check, money order or credit card. Save time and avoid long lines by paying your bill online through RamPort.
Download the ASU Mobile App
ASU Mobile is your one-stop shop for all things ASU. You can add/drop classes, view and pay your bill, access your email, find your way around campus, and so much more!
